UM’s BSA commemorates Mother Language Day
This week the University of Michigan’s Bangladeshi Students Association hosted a week of activities to commemorate the Bangla language as part of International Mother Language Day. Saa Nasta’s founder Nargis Hakim Rahman will be among the speakers for today’s presentation on “Bangla in the Diaspora,” discussing the importance of preserving Bengali culture in Western societies.
