This institute is creating safe spaces
Muslim mental health spaces increase across campuses
The Shifa Institute is a nonprofit which is creating third spaces for college students to learn more about mental health. The institute has college groups which invite professionals from different fields to discuss topics from addiction to healing. Founder Salman Pervez says several new chapters are opening this fall on Michigan college campuses.
